These comparison charts were created to aid gamers with non-german publications of ENGEL.
As myself and others noticed, there seem to be some deviations in the hierarchy of the potestates when the publications of Feder & Schwert (german publishers - referred to as Voraussetzungen/ requirements (D)) and White Wolf (american publishers - referred to as Voraussetzungen/ requirements (E)) are compared directly. Some orders had their potestates re-arranged.
To make a transfer between the engelic powers a bit easier I created this chart.
Please note that every order has got one potestas noted as speziell/ special. This one is active at all times without any cost. It's the "bonus" of each order, as you will and can be used at any time.
These "special" potestates were derived with the help of Zornhau from the D20 rules.
One final word for the use of the words potestas and potestates.
I noticed some players seem to have difficulty using the right term in gaming or other exchange.
Both terms stem from the latin with potestas meaning as much as "power", "ability" or "authority /opportunity". So, potestas is the singular word for one of the engelic powers. potestates, following the rule for creating the appropriate plural term, stands for all or several engelic powers.

The Gabrielite is able to "heal" physical wounds by himself.
This potestas is primarily used when the raphaelite of a fellowship is neither willing nor able to recover the physical injuries of a gabrielitic Engel.
Lost limbs can not be restored by this potestas; damage inflicted by exhaustion, hunger and thirst is not erased.
Tree of Purification (requires Signum, Sigil and Scriptra plus the potestas Sacrificial Lamb)
The gabrielite can ignite his physical body, without taking damage.
Friend and foe are injured when making physical contact with him or approaching to combat distance.
The flames produced by this potestas illuminate the surroundings in a diameter of ten meters. Additionally, the gabrielite acquires a fire resistance as if the potestas Daniel's Gift was activated.
Tree of Gnosis (requires Signum, Sigil, Scriptura plus the potestas Samons's Hair)
The gabrielite can determinate and locate the most vulnerable spot on his adversary's body. Mortals and other Engel who have experienced the short moment of concentration neccessary to use this potestas feel as if they have looked into the face of Death itself.
The gabrielite needs to concentrate a few seconds to use this potestas. His next hit then counts as a crictical hit automatically.
